I was never much into the "Dozen Flowers" that my husband would send to me at the office. Oh, please don't get me wrong....I was completely grateful. Most of the time, it was expected (during those occasions). I'll never forget the time he detailed my car. He absolutely loves to work on a project until it is absolutely perfect in his eyes. (Former Military - Deployed in Iraq). Just his thought is always wonderful. Anyhoot, getting back to the detailing of the car, I was excited to take a ride in it and it was ready for me to go...and what do you think I see in the holder in the front??? ONE single rose in a vase. Ohhhhhh, I was so very very happy. It was a total surprise and that ONE flower could not replace dozens upon dozens. Because, throughout the process, it was all for me..with a little single surprise at the end.
Sometimes a "thought" of one CUTE decorated cookie set out on your husband/wife/significant other's lunch bag, office desk, or simply on the kitchen counter for them to walk in and see, with an attached note "Thinking of You" will make someone's day.
